Asia

Asia is the largest and most populous continent on Earth. With about 45 million km², it represents 8.74% of the total land surface and 29.45% of the land that has emerged and, with around 4,463 million inhabitants, 69% of the world population. In the conventional division of continents, of European origin, Asia and Europe appear as two different entities for cultural and historical reasons. In geographical terms, they actually form a single continent, called Eurasia. Furthermore, Africa is linked to Eurasia by the Suez Isthmus, so the entire joint extension of Europe, Asia and Africa can also be considered as a single super-continent, occasionally called Euraphrasia, or Afro-Eurasia. While Africa is generally considered to be the birthplace of humanity, Asia is believed to have been the cradle of civilization, although it was not actually unique and uniform: the vast expanse of the Asian continent made it almost inevitable that various cultures of independently. The Asian population has different characteristics, it is not homogeneous with each other; Some common features in certain parts of Asia are slanted eyes (in the Far East from Siberia, China, Vietnam, the Korean peninsula, the islands of Taiwan, Japan, the Malay and Philippine archipelago)

​Asia is a continent of great spiritual wealth and of diametrical religious importance since the most practiced religions in the world emerged in Asia, being the cradle of the five great world religions; Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism. Because of this, Asian countries like Israel (holy place for Jews, Christians, and Muslims), Saudi Arabia (where two of the three Muslim holy cities are located), and India (where the Hindu and Buddhist holy places are located), they receive millions of pilgrims from all over the world.
